Our team started in the winter of 1997, When We went to the Youth Provincials in New Brunsiwck Canada. There was lots of good competition there, but we were able to over come the odds and we placed 1st and 2nd in the Province of New Brunswick, earning ourselves a shot for the Nationals in Quebec in May of '98.
At the nationals I was able to place 3rd in all of Canada(i was beaten out in the 5the game of a best of 5 semi finals) and Stephen was able to finish 4th place in a different tournament.
This year here, we are not playing Nationals, because we got screwed over and were unable to even shoot at the Provincials. But we still shoot in a few adult leagues around here for practice(remind you we are only 17). Well our name came about at the last tournament when some guy told us that we should call oursleves the Young Guns.
