One day in 1999, I found a black hat in the middle of Sheridan Road. It had a simple white stiched skull and crossbones on the front. I took it home, washed it and began wearing it regularly. Our group always puts together sports teams with the minimum number of people that still fight hard, do well and take no prisoners...just like a skeleton crew on a ship in rough seas! Thus the team name "The Skeleton Crew" was born. After losing the Bronze Division City Championship in 2000, the dart team disappeared into a fog for 3 years, but is now reborn with a new crew in 2004!
