Brenda Gandy has been playing darts in the Houston area for some time. Excelling in both steel point and soft tip, at the moment, Brenda is City Champion of both Houston and Austin, TX.
A truly high point of her darting experience includes making the ADO East/West Challenge team in Las Vegas, NV in August 1994. Playing for the West team, Brenda was 3 & 3 and finished just 4 points away from being a member of the National Team Challenge. That same weekend, Brenda placed in the top 8 of the Mixed Triples 601 event of the North American Open Darts tournament.
In 1994 Brenda won over $4,500 by finishing 1st in 6 tournament, 2nd in 3 tournaments, Top 4 in 6 tournaments, Top 8 in 20 tournaments and Top 16 in 18 tournaments. This large percentage of wins last year makes Benda Gandy a Womens champion her competitors take very seriously.
