ADO ANNOUNCES BOARD CHANGES
Three ADO Women among WDF-Ranked Players; Interest in Web Site Grows

Anaheim, Calif. To fill the vacancy on the board of directors created when General Secretary Katie Harris resigned that position (and only that position-she remains office manager) this spring, President Cain appointed Area 3 Manager Dennis Aitken as interim General Secretary. Aitken also was appointed Webmaster for the ADO at the spring board meeting. In turn, Cain appointed Region 3-1 Director Chris Helms interim Area Manager. Aitken will appoint an interim Region 3-1 Director. Elections for these positions will be held in the fall. Per the By-Laws, Cain was responsible for General Secretary duties while the position was vacant, though Harris and other board members have assisted for the past 90 days.
Calls for candidates will go out to all member organizations within the week. Other ADO members interested in submitting their names as candidates for these positions may contact Cain, Aitken or the ADO office for further information about qualifications and job duties.

Updated WDF Rankings List Three U.S. Women
The most recent edition of the WDF world ranking tables ranks the following ADO members: Stacy Bromberg, No. 10; Carolyn Mars, No. 12; Lori Verrier, No. 23. No U.S. men had enough world points to show on the most recent list. The next WDF-ranked event in the U.S. is the Cleveland Extravaganza.

Web Site Gains Popularity
Rick Osgood, editor of CyberDarts, which hosts the ADO Web site, has provided the ADO with statistics from the past six months that illustrate the increasing popularity of Web data in the sport. Visitors to the ADO site have included people from 87 countries; there have been 54,978 unique visits, each of which consists of one person viewing several pages on the site. On any given day, anywhere from 200 to 400 individuals visit the ADO site. The most-visited portions of the site are the home page, rules, points and calendar. Members who have not visited lately will find updated calendar and points information as of the end of June, as well as several new press releases.
